The ombudsman program consists of a full-time ombudsman, plus trained friendly visitors volunteers and specially trained certified volunteers who advocate for quality care in the five (5) Gateway Counties.  Ombudsman provide information to residents and families about their individual rights, help identify additional resources in or out of the nursing facility, and assist in the resolution or complaints by or on behalf of nursing facility residents.
